Gourmet Caramel Apples

Ingredients:

6 Apples
2 Bags Kraft Caramel Bits
Toppings of your choice - Oreos, M&M's, Chocolate Chips, Peanuts, Chocolate Almond Bark, etc.
Wooden Skewers

Directions:

  1. Wash and dry apples. Poke skewers into the center of each apple.
  2. Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
  3. Melt caramel bits according to package instructions.
  4. Pour each topping into separate bowls or onto separate plates.
  5. Dip one apple into the caramel, making sure to submerge or coat the sides or the apple the best you can. Allow excess caramel to drip off.
  6. Dip into one topping of your choice and roll around to coat all around the apple. Place on the baking sheet. Repeat with the other apples and toppings.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the fridge for 30 minutes to help the caramel set.
  8. Store in the fridge until ready to serve or enjoy immediately.
