Butterfinger Chow

Ingredients:

4 Cups Rice Chex Cereal
6 oz Milk Chocolate Chips
3/4 Cup Peanut Butter
10.2 oz Bag Fun Size Butterfinger Bars
1 Cup Reese's Minis Unwrapped, cut in half
1 Cup Powdered Sugar, divided

Directions:

  1. Divide the cereal between 2 mixing bowls, 2 cups in each.
  2. Chop the Butterfinger bars. Set aside.
  3. Add the chocolate to a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until completely melted. Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal in ONE of the bowls and stir to coat.
  4. Add ½ of the chopped Butterfinger bars and stir to combine.
  5. Add ½ cup of powdered sugar and stir to combine.
  6. Add the peanut butter to a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until completely melted. Pour the peanut butter over the cereal in the other bowl and stir to coat.
  7. Add the remaining ½ of the chopped Butterfinger bars and stir to combine.
  8. Add ½ cup of powdered sugar and stir to combine.
  9. Combine the 2 bowls into one and stir to combine. Add the chopped Reese’s minis and stir to combine.
  10. Pour onto a baking sheet or piece of wax paper on the counter to allow the chocolate and peanut butter to set for about 15 minutes.
  11. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container on the counter.
