Air Fryer Toasted Ravioli

Rate this Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Package Fresh Refrigerated Ravioli, any brand or flavor
1 Large Egg
1 Tbsp Water
1 Tbsp Flour
1 Cup Breadcrumbs
1 Heaping Tsp Dried Oregano
1 Heaping Tsp Dried Basil
1 Heaping Tsp Dried Thyme
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
2 1/2 Tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese, plus more for topping
Marinara Sauce, for serving

Directions:

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the fresh ravioli and boil for 3 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove to a bowl and set aside.
  2. Add the breadcrumbs, oregano, basil, thyme, salt, pepper, and 2 Tbsp parmesan cheese to a bowl. Mix to combine.
  3. Add the egg, water, and flour to a separate mixing bowl. Whisk to combine.
  4. Create an assembly line: cooked ravioli, egg mixture, breadcrumb mixture, empty plate.
  5. Dip one ravioli in the egg mixture and use your fingers or a fork to let the excess drip off. Then add to the breadcrumb mixture coat completely. Shake off any excess breadcrumbs and place on the empty plate. Repeat until all ravioli has been coated.
  6. Preheat the oven to 225 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place 4-6 ravioli in the basket, making sure they are not touching. Add as many as will fit in the air fryer basket (might be more or less than 4-6). Lightly spritz the tops of the ravioli with cooking spray.
  8. Air fry for 375 degrees F for 4 minutes. Flip over and lightly spritz the top of the ravioli with cooking spray. Cook for an additional 3 minutes at 375 degrees F. Remove to the prepared baking sheet and place in the oven to keep warm while you cook the remaining ravioli. You will need to cook in batches.
  9. Once all the ravioli has been cooked, place on a serving platter and garnish with grated parmesan cheese. Serve with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
