Smoked Brownies with Caramel

Ingredients:
1 Box Dark Chocolate Brownies, plus ingredients listed on box
8 oz Caramel Sauce
Flakey Salt
9x13 Foil Pan, for smoking
Directions:
- Preheat your smoker to 275 degrees with hickory woodchips (or any woodchip flavor of choice).
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and pour into a 9x13 foil pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Drizzle about 2 Tbsp of caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with flakey salt.
- Smoke the brownies for 25 minutes then add an additional 2 Tbsp of caramel sauce over the top. Continue to smoke in 25-minute increments, adding caramel each time, until done. It should take about 2 hours for the brownies to be cooked through. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean. Add woodchips occasionally, based on how smokey you want the brownies to be.
- Once you remove the brownies from the smoker, drizzle one last round of caramel and sprinkle flakey salt over the top again.
- Let cool for about 5 minutes before slicing. Serve and enjoy!
- Make it a la mode with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional).
