Ingredients:
30 Potato Crowns, frozen
1 lb Lean Ground Beef
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Tsp Onion Powder
3-4 Slices Cheddar Cheese
5 Strips of Bacon
Ketchup & Mustard, for serving, optional
Directions:
- Cook the bacon according to package instructions. Remove to a paper towel lined plate to drain the excess grease. Once cool, cut each strip into 6 squares (total of 30 pieces).
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Arrange the potato crowns in 6 rows of 5 on one of the baking sheets. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping after 10 minutes. Once cooked, remove from the oven and set aside.
- Meanwhile, add the beef, salt, pepper, and onion powder to a mixing bowl. Mix until well combined. Transfer to the counter and press down until about ¼ - ½ inches thick. Use a round cookie cutter or biscuit cutter that is 1-inch in diameter to cut out 30 round burgers. Arrange the burgers on the second baking sheet in 6 rows of 5. Bake for 10 minutes.
- Cut each slice of cheese into 9 pieces. Set aside.
- Place one burger on top of each potato crown. Add a slice of cheese and piece of bacon to each. Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Transfer to a serving platter and serve immediately, while hot. Enjoy!
- Any leftovers should be cooled completely and stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
