Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
Seasoned Salt and Pepper, to taste
1 cup Thousand Island Dressing, divided use.
10 (10 inch) Soft Flour Tortillas
8 Slices American Cheese, cut in half
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Dill Relish or Sliced Dill Pickles, (optional)
Crumbled cooked bacon, (optional)
ketchup, (optional)
mustard, (optional)
salsa and sour cream, (optional)
Directions:
Brown ground beef in medium skillet over medium-high heat and cook until no longer pink. Stir in chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce and sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper, to taste. Cook until onions are translucent, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and drain fat, if any; set aside.
Spread one side of each tortilla lightly and evenly with Thousand Island dressing. Place two half slices of the American cheese on half of the tortilla. Layer top of cheese slices evenly with cooked beef, fillings of your choice, and sprinkle top evenly with the shredded Cheddar. Fold tortilla in half into half-moon and press down lightly to seal together.
Preheat large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Brush outsides of tortillas with melted Butter or oil. Grill two at a time, in hot pan about 3 to 4 minutes per side or until tortillas are golden brown on the outside and fillings are hot inside.
