Dippers - baguette, pretzels, summer sausage, apple slices, etc.
Directions:
Add the cider, broth, and garlic to a fondue pot or medium saucepan and heat over medium heat until simmering.
Add some of the grated cheese, a little at a time, and stir until completely melted. Continue until all cheese has been added and is melted. Season with pepper, to taste.
In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and half & half. Add to the fondue pot / saucepan and stir to combine. Continue to stir until the fondue is shiny and smooth and thickens slightly.
Serve warm with your favorite dippers: slices baguette, pretzels, apple slices, summer sausage, etc.
Any leftovers should be cooled and stored in an airtight container in the fridge. To enjoy the next day, simply reheat on the stove. You might need to add a splash of apple cider to help loosen up the cheese when whisking.
