Cheeseburger Pockets





Serves 5
Ingredients:
| 1/2 lb. Ground beef, (80 or 85% lean) |
| 1/4 cup chopped onion |
| Seasoned salt, to taste |
| 1 tube refrigerated biscuits, (12 oz.)(10-biscuit pack) |
| 5 slices American cheese |
| Pepper, to taste |
Directions:
- Preheat large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and onion, stirring and breaking up large pieces. Sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper and continue cooking until ground beef is cooked through and a little crispy, about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat; set aside to cool a bit while you roll out the biscuits.
- Place 2 biscuits overlapping on floured surface; roll out into 5-inch oval. Place half a slice of American Cheese on bottom of rolled biscuit, top with about 1/4 cup cheeseburger mixture and top with other half of American cheese slice. Fold dough over filling; press edges together with fork to seal. Repeat with the 4 remaining cheeseburger pockets. Place on greased baking sheet; prick tops with fork.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
