1 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts (cut into strips) or breast tenders
12 oz Linguine or Spaghetti Noodles
Parsley, chopped
Directions:
In a shallow mixing bowl, combine the sea salt, Cajun seasoning, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and flour.
Slice the chicken and dredge each piece in the seasoning mixture. Shake off any excess seasoning and place on a plate. Reserve the remaining seasoning.
Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 Tbsp olive oil and 1 Tbsp butter. Cook the chicken until cooked through and an internal temperature of 165 degrees F is reached, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Using the same pan, melt 4 Tbsp butter. Add the remaining seasoning mixture and whisk to combine. Slowly pour in the heavy cream while whisking. Continue to whisk until well combined. Increase the heat and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes. The sauce will start to thicken. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss until coated.
Serve the pasta warm with sliced chicken on top. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
