Buffalo Chicken Sloppy Joe’s





Ingredients:
+ Add All Ingredients to Shopping List
1 lb Ground Chicken+ Add to Shopping List |
1/2 Yellow Onion, diced+ Add to Shopping List |
4 Baby Carrots, diced+ Add to Shopping List |
1 Celery Stalk, diced+ Add to Shopping List |
2 Garlic Cloves, minced+ Add to Shopping List |
Salt & Pepper, to taste+ Add to Shopping List |
1/4 Cup Chicken Broth or Chicken Stock+ Add to Shopping List |
8 oz Can Tomato Sauce+ Add to Shopping List |
1/4 Cup Buffalo Wing Sauce+ Add to Shopping List |
1 Tbsp Worcestershire+ Add to Shopping List |
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar+ Add to Shopping List |
Ranch or Blue Cheese Dressing, for topping+ Add to Shopping List |
Hamburger Buns+ Add to Shopping List |
Directions:
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion, carrots, and celery, and sauté until softened.
- Add the garlic and sauté for another minute.
- Add the ground chicken, season with salt and pepper, and heat until cooked through.
- Add the chicken broth/stock to the pan and stir to combine.
- In a small bowl combine the tomato sauce, wing sauce, Worcestershire, and apple cider vinegar. Pour in to the pan and mix until everything is coated.
- Turn the heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes to let the sauce heat and thicken.
- Serve on hamburger buns and top with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
