Instant Pot Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal (Vegan)





Ingredients:
| 2 1/4 Cup Old Fashioned Oats |
| 4 Cups Unsweetened Almond Milk, can substitute water but do not use dairy milk |
| 3 Apples, diced |
| 3 Tsp Brown Sugar |
| 2 Tsp Cinnamon, plus more for topping |
| 2 Cinnamon Sticks |
| 1/2 Tsp Nutmeg |
Directions:
- Chop the apples into small pieces.
- Add the oats, almond milk, 2 of the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, cinnamon sticks, and nutmeg to the Instant Pot. Close the lid and confirm the valve is set to the “seal” position.
- Cook for 3 minutes on high pressure using the manual setting. It will take about 10 minutes for the Instant Pot to pressurize before the timer starts.
- Once the 3 minutes are up, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes. Then open the valve and quick release the pressure until the pin drops.
- Remove the lid and stir the oatmeal. Remove the cinnamon sticks.
- Serve warm with additional diced apples and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
