Ingredients:
2 lbs Chicken Wings
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper, to taste
1/2 Cup Orange Juice (pulp free)
1 1/2 Tsp Orange Zest
2 Tbsp Garlic Chili Sauce
1/3 Cup Water
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
3 1/2 Tbsp Sugar
2 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
4 Tsp Rice Wine
3 Tsp Cornstarch
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the chicken in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste. Toss to coat.
- Place the chicken on the baking sheet in an even layer. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until cooked through, flipping halfway.
- While the wings are baking, make the sauce. Add the orange juice, orange zest, garlic chili sauce, water, soy sauce, sugar, apple cider vinegar, rice wine, and cornstarch to a saucepan. Whisk to combine. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for about 10-15 minutes. The sauce will start to thicken.
- When the wings are done, remove from the oven and place in a large mixing bowl. Pour the sauce over the top and toss to coat.
- Serve immediately. Pairs well with a side of cilantro lime rice.
