Turkey Bacon Croque Monsieur





Serves 4
Ingredients:
| 2 cups grated Jarlsberg cheese |
| 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard |
| 3 drops Tabasco sauce |
| 1 tablespoon Rothschild Champagne Garlic Mustard |
| Freshly ground pepper, to taste |
| 8 slices Taste of Scandinavia Bakery Norwegian Milk Bread |
| 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and drained |
| Butter, as needed |
Directions:
- In a medium bowl, mix the grated cheese, mayonnaise, Tabasco sauce, Dijon mustard, and Champagne Garlic Mustard.
- Place a liberal layer of the cheese spread on 1 side of each of the 8 slices of bread. Place the turkey and bacon slices (break them up to fit on the sandwich) on 4 of the pieces of the cheese topped bread, then top them with the remaining 4 slices of bread to form a sandwich.
- Place butter in a large sauté pan over low to medium heat. Add the sandwiches to the melted butter and slowly brown them on both sides while allowing the cheese to melt inside. Remove toasted sandwiches to a board and allow to cool 2 minutes before cutting. Cut the sandwiches crosswise into 4 triangles. Serve warm.
