As long as we are hunkered-in attempting to stay warm during the Polar Vortex, we might as well plan that Super Bowl party!
Let’s face it Chicken wings are a necessity on a party buffet. We prefer serving boneless wings, they’re neater to eat and no bones for the kids or pets to worry about. That doesn’t mean you need to make them yourself, our Delis make some spectacular wings. Serve the Buffalo version of our wings with this easy Steakhouse Blue Cheese dressing recipe!
Our Sweet Chili Boneless Wings are another very popular option and a nice alternative to the spicy Buffalo wings.
An easy to serve Slider bar allows your guests to customize their sandwiches. Most of the work can be done ahead and the shredded beef can hold in a crock pot for hours. Toppings could include:
- sliced jalapeños
- sliced banana peppers
- chopped onion
- sliced pickles
- sliced red pepper
- avocado slices
- cheese slices
- ketchup
- mustard
- mayonnaise
- horseradish sauce
- barbecue sauce
This recipe for Pot Roast Sliders in the crock pot is so easy and absolutely delicious! If your time is limited, we can help you out! Our party pail of heat and serve Shredded Beef with Au Jus is available in half gallon (serving 24) and gallon quantities.
We offer some prepared meatballs in our frozen meat case; Bacon cheddar, jalapeño cheddar and Italian Parmesan. We decided these would be perfect for sliders. We thawed them and pressed them down before cooking and that patties were a perfect size for sliders. The Italian Parmesan meatballs could also be used to make Italian Meatball sliders with a little red sauce extra cheese and some fresh basil.
Potato Skins are another fun app and we have them prepared and ready to heat and serve. We have buffalo, bacon and cheddar and they’re awesome! Our meat departments also offer prepared Stuffed Mushrooms, and Jalapeño Poppers.
Our own meat sticks are great finger food for snacking. We offer Wild Rice, Sriracha, and Habanero, we loved all of them. Great addition to a Bloody Mary
An app that seems meant for a Super Bowl party – Man Cave app brats. Cook them up ahead of time and keep them warm in the Crock pot.
You’re going to need some vegetarian options as well! Guacamole is expected and we think it should always be chunky. A hearty Black Bean dip will go well with the Guacamole and tortilla chips. Our favorite tortilla chips are El Milagro.
A Warm Artichoke Dip and a chilled Jarlberg Cheese dip served with some sliced baguettes offer some additional meatless options.
You just can’t forget dessert! Yummy, themed cupcakes will add color to the table and bite size cookies, fresh from our bakery provide the perfect finish to your fabulous buffet.
Stay safe, stay warm!
