Who doesn’t love peanut butter or brownie desserts? Any hands up? I didn’t think so 😊 But if you aren’t sure, I’m confident my recipe for Triple Layer Peanut Butter Brownies will change your mind. Think rich chocolatey brownie, topped with a layer of rich and creamy peanut butter, followed by whipped cream and chopped peanut butter cups. It’s heavenly! And won’t last long!
The recipe can be found here.
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9×13 baking pan with cooking spray.
Prepare a boxed brownie mix according to package instructions. Use any brand or box mix of your choosing. I’m partial to the fudge brownie mixes or anything that is going to be super rich and chewy. Bake and let cool completely.
While the brownies are cooling, prepare the peanut butter layer. Add the cream cheese and powdered sugar to the bowl of a stand mixer. Beat until creamy. Add the peanut butter and beat again, until smooth and creamy. I should mention that you want to use CREAMY peanut butter in this recipe for best results.
Fold in 1 cup of Cool Whip until creamy. It’s OK if the Cool Whip isn’t fully incorporated. Try to incorporate as much as you can. Add the mixture on top of the cooled brownies and spread into an even layer.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the pudding and milk. Fold in the rest of the Cool Whip. Try to incorporate the best you can. Add on top of the peanut butter mixture and spread into an even layer.
Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours. Once ready, sprinkle peanut butter cups and peanuts evenly over the top. Cut into squares and serve immediately. Dig in and enjoy!
Any leftovers should be covered and stored in the fridge.

I like to use mini peanut butter cups so I don’t have to cut them, but you can still slice them in half or use larger peanut butter cups that are chopped for the topping. If you don’t like peanuts in desserts or don’t care for the crunch, they can be omitted.
Just looking at the picture of this dessert makes me drool. It’s incredible and will satisfy any sweet tooth.
Happy Cooking!
