I recently felt the need to get out my Mini Scone Pan and try my hand at a festive breakfast of Gingerbread Scones with Cream Cheese Glaze.  The result was super yummy!  They taste similar to a gingerbread cookie; packed with cinnamon, ginger, and clove flavors, but make a tasty breakfast or treat.  I think these are slightly more moist than traditional scones and have a nice texture.  They pair well with some scrambled eggs and bacon or could be added to your brunch menu. ‘Tis the season for some festive food and what better way to celebrate the holidays than with pancakes!  Kidding…kind of 😊 Pancakes are one of those items we have once or twice a year but when we do have them, we remember how much we enjoy them.  They are filling, a hearty meal for cold weather, can be enjoyed any time of day (raise your hand if you’re a fan of brinner…breakfast for dinner), and can be prepared in a variety of flavors.  Since it is holiday season, what better way to enjoy pancakes than in some traditional holiday flavors?  That is my goal with this blog post; to provide you with some yummy new recipes and hopefully give you recipe ideas for Christmas morning or another meal around the holidays. Decadent Holiday Treats I have a huge sweet tooth and love to bake.  I often refer to myself as a “Cookie Connoisseur” because that’s how much I love a good cookie.  The holidays are a great time for baking because the options are endless.  And I think people judge the amount of sweets you consume a bit less around the holidays because they also get to enjoy the sugary goodness 😊 Below I have four recipes I think you’ll want to try this year.
