Whether or not you enjoy the sport of football, the Super Bowl is a great excuse to gather friends for a party and enjoy some great food! Let’s face it Chicken wings are a necessity on a party buffet. We prefer serving boneless wings, they’re neater to eat and no bones for the kids or pets to worry about. That doesn’t mean you need to make them yourself, our Delis make some spectacular wings. Serve the Buffalo version of our wings with this easy Steakhouse Blue Cheese dressing recipe! If you’re tired of Buffalo Wings on the menu, our Sweet Chili Boneless Wings are very popular and a nice alternative to the spicy Buffalo wings. Break out the bowls! A large pot of Chili is always a welcome site on a cold day and this hardy recipe is gonna score big with your guests and you can make it ahead of time so you don’t miss any of the fun! This Chili recipe is made with our very own Italian Sausage, don’t forget all of the extras for topping.
A build-your-own Slider bar allows your guests to build the sandwich of their dreams. Most of the work can be done ahead and the shredded beef can hold in a crock pot for hours. Toppings could include:

- avocado slices
- cheese slices
- horseradish sauce
- barbecue sauce
This recipe for Pot Roast Sliders in the crock pot is so easy and absolutely delicious! If your time is limited, we can help you out! Our party pail of heat and serve Shredded Beef with Au Jus is available in half gallon (serving 24) and gallon quantities. We offer some prepared meatballs in our frozen meat case; Bacon cheddar, jalapeño cheddar and Italian Parmesan. We decided these would be perfect for sliders. We thawed them and pressed them down before cooking and that patties were a perfect size for sliders. Potato Skins are another fun app and we have them prepared and ready to heat and serve. We have buffalo, bacon and cheddar and they’re awesome! Our meat departments also offer prepared Stuffed Mushrooms, and Jalapeño Poppers. Our own meat sticks are great finger food for snacking. We offer Wild Rice, Sriracha, and Habanero, we loved all of them. You’re going to need some vegetarian options as well! Guacamole is expected and we think it should always be chunky. A hearty Black Bean dip will go well with the Guacamole and tortilla chips. Our favorite tortilla chips are El Milagro. A Warm Artichoke Dip and a chilled Jarlberg Cheese dip served with some sliced baguettes offer some additional meatless options. You just can’t forget dessert! Yummy, themed cupcakes will add color to the table and bite size cookies, fresh from our bakery provide the perfect finish to your fabulous buffet. We almost forgot – you’re going to have to kick that party of with some beverages. A Bloody Mary bar is a feast in itself and guests can choose whether or not they are going to add alcohol. Set out a variety of spirits for them to choose from. We are pretty partial to Tito’s handmade Vodka but the team at On the Rocks Wine and Spirits has a wide variety of Vodka to choose from and lots of great micro brews for the chasers. Prep for our bar began with putting the bacon in the oven on racks so we had nice flat bacon for the beverages. In addition to the bacon we sliced a Panino and rolled some Prosciutto. Meat sticks are always a great ingredient for a Bloody Mary. We chose our own smokehouse Ghost Pepper Sriracha Meat sticks.
For the adventuresome and enlightened guests, a handcrafted Sriracha Bloody Mary mix from Vermont is on the bar. Wonderful flavor with a little kick! For the others tomato juice and Clamato juice. We chose Castelvetrano olives for their great taste and color and Jalapeño stuffed green olives and our pickle of choice is Claussen Kosher Dill spears. Add wedges of fresh limes and lemons to your buffet as well. A variety of spices, salt and hot sauces finishes the bar.
