Salted Caramel & Chocolate Pretzel Bars are an amazing treat that is the perfect combination of sweet and salty! The recipe is very basic and simple to make, any only requires 4 ingredients. These no bake bars are perfect for any occasion!

Start by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add ¾ bag of chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl. Make sure to use good quality chocolate! You don’t want to skimp on the chocolate in this recipe because it’s one of few ingredients and it’s a main ingredient. Heat the chocolate in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth. Pour onto the parchment paper and spread in an even layer. You can use a spoon or offset spatula to do this. You want the chocolate to almost reach the edges of the pan.
Add the pretzels on top of the chocolate and lightly press down to help hold them in place. It’s OK if the pretzels are overlapping or if they aren’t touching at all – use as many or as few as you like.
Add the caramel to a microwave safe bowl + 2 Tbsp of water. I like to use a bag of Kraft Caramel BITS (not the squares). The bits melt faster, and you don’t have to unwrap each one 😊 I recommend using the bits if you can, or feel free to use homemade caramel. Heat the caramels in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth. Drizzle over the pretzels. There is no pattern here, drizzle, dollop, and smear the caramel all over.
Generously sprinkle with sea salt. Again, use as much or as little as you like.
Add the remaining ¼ bag of chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl. Heat the chocolate in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth. Drizzle this chocolate over the top of the caramel. This is the last “glue” that will hold everything together.
Refrigerate until the chocolate and caramel is set and the bars have hardened. This will take about 30 minutes. Gently pull the parchment paper off the baking sheet and onto a cutting board. Use a sharp knife to cut into squares. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Any leftovers should be stored in an airtight container, using parchment or wax paper between layers, to prevent sticking.

I love the combination of chocolate and caramel, so these are a guilty pleasure of mine! I had to put the leftovers away right away and bring them to work the next day, so I didn’t eat the entire pan myself. I will admit…I have quite the sweet tooth! As you can see, the recipe is highly simple and doesn’t take any special baking skills to make 😊 It would also be easy to double the recipe if you need a larger quantity.
Happy Cooking!
