Start by preheating the grill to 375-400 degrees F.  You also want to turn on the oven broiler and line a baking sheet with parchment paper (this will make sense in a later step…hold please).

Form the ground beef into 3 patties, about 1/3 lb. in size.  Season each side with salt, pepper, and Lawry’s seasoned salt.  If you are using chicken breasts, you want to do the same.

For burgers, grill to your desired doneness (amount of pink you want in the center) and remove to a baking sheet.

For chicken, grill on each side for about 7-8 minutes or until an internal temperature of 165 degrees F is reached, then remove to a baking sheet.

Top each with a heaping scoop of pimento cheese and spread over the top.  Place the baking sheet under the broiler until the cheese is slightly melted.  This step is the same for the burgers or the chicken.

You are now ready to assembly (again, same for either the burgers or chicken).  Add the lettuce, tomato, onion, and burger or chicken breast to the bottom bun.  Garnish with fresh sliced green onion, then add the top half of the bun.  Serve and enjoy!

Add a side of potato chips, baked beans, potato salad, pasta salad, or a fresh garden salad.  Anything will pair well!
