Celebrate the holidays with a festive twist on a classic favorite—Brrrrata Caprese! This delightful appetizer combines creamy burrata, juicy cherry tomatoes, and fragrant basil for a dish that’s as beautiful as it is delicious. With mozzarella pearls adding extra creaminess, a drizzle of rich balsamic glaze, and a touch of olive oil and salt to enhance the flavors, every bite is a celebration of fresh, bold taste.

To make it even more magical, we’ve incorporated a charming holiday touch using a piece of carrot to create whimsical snowman-inspired garnishes. Serve it alongside sliced baguette for the perfect pairing of creamy, tangy, and crisp textures. This cheerful and creative dish is sure to be the star of your holiday spread!

The recipe can be found here.

Start by draining the burrata and carefully place on a platter, creating snowman shapes.  Next, slice 2 carrot noses and place on the top 2 piece of burrata.

Slice the tomatoes in half and arrange around the burrata.  Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt.  Arrange a few mozzarella pearls among the sliced tomatoes.

Create a scarf of each snowman using basil.  Chop the rest of the basil and sprinkle over the tomatoes, for decoration.

Use the balsamic glaze to carefully create eyes and buttons on the burrata.  Don’t do this too early (aka do it right before serving) or it might start to bleed or drip, and you’ll have a sad looking snowman!

Then, serve with sliced baguette and enjoy!

Mini Christmas Tree Pizzas are a delightful and festive treat that bring holiday cheer to your table! These adorable, bite-sized pizzas are made using refrigerated pizza dough or your favorite pizza dough mix, shaped into charming Christmas tree forms. Each tree is topped with a layer of zesty pizza sauce, followed by a generous sprinkle of melty shredded mozzarella cheese to resemble a blanket of snow.

For decorations, sliced cherry tomatoes act as colorful ornaments, while chopped spinach leaves create a vibrant green “foliage” effect. These mini pizzas are not only fun and easy to make but also offer a perfect balance of cheesy, tangy, and savory flavors. They’re a hit with kids and adults alike, making them an ideal addition to any holiday gathering or cozy Christmas movie night!

The recipe can be found here.

Start by preheating the oven according to package directions.  If using a dough mix, prepare the dough according to package instruction.  If using a tube of store-bought dough, roll out the dough and use a tree shaped cookie cutter to cut out as many trees as you can fit on a baking sheet.  If you don’t have a tree shaped cookie cutter you could use a snowman or snowflake – any holiday shape.

Top each with sauce, mozzarella, spinach, and tomatoes.  Then, bake according to package instructions.

Serve hot and enjoy!

Buddy The Elf Spaghetti Bars are a whimsical, sweet, and fun twist on everyone’s favorite holiday movie character’s quirky love for spaghetti. These no-bake bars are a delightful mix of creamy, crunchy, and colorful ingredients that will bring smiles to your face and joy to your taste buds. Starting with unsalted butter and white chocolate chips, melted together to create a smooth, rich base, the marshmallows add that signature gooey texture, making these bars perfectly chewy.

Next, Chow Mein noodles are stirred in to give the bars a fun, spaghetti-like texture, bringing that playful “spaghetti” feel to life. A generous drizzle of chocolate magic shell sauce adds a sweet, chocolaty crunch, while the toppings of marshmallow bits, rainbow sprinkles, and mini-M&Ms transform these bars into a festive, colorful treat that’s as visually exciting as it is delicious. These fun, candy-filled bars are a perfect treat for any holiday gathering and will have everyone smiling just like Buddy himself!

The recipe can be found here.

Start by spraying a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.  Pour the chow mein noodles in a bowl and set aside.

Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.  Add the white chocolate chips and marshmallows and stir to combine and continue to heat and stir until completely melted and combined.  Pour over the chow mein noodles and stir to coat.

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press into an even layer.  Pour the chocolate sauce (Magic shell) evenly over the top.  Sprinkle marshmallow bits, rainbow sprinkles, and mini-M&Ms over the top.

Let sit so the bars and firm up and the chocolate sauce can harden.  Once ready, slice, serve, and enjoy!

Start by spraying two sheet pans that are approximately 12×17-inches in size with cooking spray then line each with parchment paper, and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

You want to prepare the cake mix according to package directions – water, oil, and eggs listed on the back of the box should be utilized.  Divide the cake mix evenly between the two sheet pans and smooth all the way to the sides – it will be very thin!  Bake for about 10 minutes or until the center is set and springs back when touched.  It will be a little hard to tell when the cake is cooked through, not like when baking a traditional cake due to the thinness of each pan.  Set each aside to cool completely.

Next, prepare the filling.  Add the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the bowl of a stand mixer and beat until stiff peaks form.  Add the marshmallow fluff and beat again.  The filling will be very light and airy.

Spread the filling over one of the cakes.  Invert the second cake on top of the frosting.  This sounds difficult but is actually quite simply.  Mine lifted right out of the sheet pan and was easy to maneuver.  Cover with plastic wrap (you can leave the parchment paper on for now) and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hour or overnight.

Once the cake is chilled, use a tree shaped cookie cutter to cut out tree shaped, about 3-4-inch in size, and place them on a tray.  You want to use a metal cookie cutter for this step.  It works MUCH better than a plastic cookie cutter.  It’s usually thinner and sticks to the cake and frosting less so it’s easier to use without having to wipe off after each cut.

Place the trees in the freezer for at least 60 minutes before coating.  Do not skip this step!  I can’t stress this enough.  If the trees aren’t frozen or nearly frozen when you dip them in the chocolate coating, they will start to crumble and leave you with quite the mess.  If you aren’t ready to coat them same day, you can cover with plastic wrap again, refrigerate overnight, and finish the trees the following day.  But do put them in the freezer before moving on to the next step.

Once the trees are chilled (aka frozen), add the almond bark and shortening to a microwave safe bowl and heat according to package instructions.  You want the chocolate to be completely melted and smooth.

Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and remove the cakes from the freezer.  Dip each frozen cake into the melted chocolate using 1-2 forks, making sure it’s completely coated, and carefully lift out, letting excess chocolate drip off.  Place on the parchment lined sheet pan and immediately add green sanding sugar.  You want to do this before the chocolate hardens.  If you forget, you can brush a little chocolate on top of each tree using your finger or the back of a spoon and sprinkle the sanding sugar on top afterward.  I forgot with the first few trees and had to do this so don’t worry if it happens to you too!

Repeat with the remaining trees until all are covered.

Pipe red icing over each cake in a decorative line pattern to resemble Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes.  Let sit so the icing can harden slightly.

Serve and enjoy!

Store any leftovers in an airtight container on the counter.
