A Game of Thrones Pot Pie
If you are anything like us, and love watching Game of Thrones on Sundays, then you might celebrate with a tasty meal to go with your viewing experience! For the last episode, we decided to go with a themed recipe and make something that you might find in Westeros, with some modern updates of course. We chose to make a Chicken Pot Pie fit for a king! The recipe we followed was for a 13×19 pan, but we modified it slightly to make it look like a more authentic Game of Thrones Pie. Don’t worry, this was not a Frey Pie (book reader joke). We followed the recipe available on our site almost completely, until we got to actual pie section. What’s not to love about sun-dried tomatoes, chicken, and pasta with a healthy kick of red pepper flakes! This dish comes together quickly with wonderful rich flavor, a perfect evening meal for a busy family. Let’s get cooking. Chicken Pasta with Sun-Dried Tomatoes Ingredients • 3 large garlic cloves, minced • 1 jar (4 oz.) sun-dried tomatoes in oil • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch cubes or larger • kosher salt • paprika • 1 cup heavy whipping cream • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan, plus more for serving with the pasta • 8 oz. penne pasta • 1 Tbsp.
