Ice Cream Pizzas!!!
Do you remember those yummy ice cream pizzas you probably had as a child at Dairy Queen? They came in multiple favors and were typically served at a party. They were my FAVORITE! And there was a time in my life that I believe they were discontinued, and I was admittedly bummed to never have one again. Cookies Galore
Spring will be over before you know it and as we get into the summer months, you might be looking for something fun for the kids to do over summer break. Why not make a fresh batch of cookies? (And then send them outside to recover from the sugar rush) 😊 There is nothing like fresh baked cookies, right out of the oven. I always have to sample one off the baking sheet (for quality control purpose) before they are even cooled enough to transfer to a cooling rack. Am I a monster? Yes. 4th of July Treats!
Can you believe the 4th of July is this weekend? I looked at my calendar and thought, that can’t be right. What happened to the month of June? I barely feel prepared! But…. come Saturday, I will be ready. I’m putting others in charge of the food and am going to focus on desserts. I know we’ll be spending as much time outside as possible, soaking up the sun, and social distancing with family and friends. I want to make a variety of sweets with something for everyone. I also want something that’s refreshing because it’s going to be HOT! The first dessert I’m going to make is an Ice Cream Sandwich Cookie. I love baking any time of year but baking for Christmas is something special. There so many themed recipes, fun cookie cutter shapes, and festive decorations to choose from.
