These are addicting!  Who knew a chicken burger could taste so good?  Chicken Bacon Ranch Burgers are loaded with juicy chicken, melted cheddar cheese, crisp bacon, and plenty of ranch seasoning.  They are a new household favorite and something you should keep stocked in your freezer for plenty of summer grilling. Start by cooking the bacon according to package instructions.  You can use any brand, thickness, or flavor of bacon you prefer.  Just make sure to have enough bacon to use as an ingredient inside the burgers and as a topping.  Once cooked, remove to a paper towel lined plate to drain the excess grease.  Chop 4 strips of bacon and set the other strips aside. We recently tried a recipe for Bacon Apple Chicken Burgers with Dijon Sauce, and it was amazing!  The burgers are a little sweet from the apples and a little salty from the crispy bacon.  Add the Dijon sauce and you have a little slice of heaven!  The Dijon sauce is a combination of Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and maple syrup so it is sweet yet tangy, and I could not get enough of it.  All the flavors in this burger pair well and your taste buds will be happy 😊 The ingredient list looks long but these burgers really are easy to make.  And you will most likely have most of the ingredients at home already, so give them a try! Right around this time of year I get a craving for a turkey dinner…. a nice plate full of my favorite Thanksgiving foods.  But, that’s just too much food on a hot summer day.  I decided to create a recipe that not only reminds me of Thanksgiving but is light enough for summer.  I give you the Turkey Burger with Cranberry Aioli.   The turkey burger is full of flavorful herbs and when you combine it with the cranberry aioli you have the perfect burger.  It’s a great blend of sweet and savory with a lean and juicy burger. There is nothing like a juicy burger hot off the grill, chilled cocktail in hand, and warm weather to cure those winter blues.  I want to share some of my favorite chicken/turkey burger recipes with you now that it’s starting to feel like summer!  These are all a nice break from typical hamburgers and healthier for you (well, maybe not once you add all the toppings).  I think they are very flavorful, simple to make, and delicious to eat.  The first recipe I want to share is for Buffalo Chicken Burgers.  These are ¼ pound burgers that taste just like buffalo wings but without the mess.  Who wouldn’t want that?  I like to top my burger with extra buffalo sauce and a little ranch dressing, then add a small amount of each onto my plate for extra dipping sauce.  This burger would also pair well with blue cheese.  The recipe … Continue reading
